Welcome to 3DS Alaska — home to the 3 Day Startup community on the Last Frontier and our inaugural March 2011 event in Anchorage.

Our (Draft) Mission

Gather and foster a community of technology entrepreneurs and business innovation in Alaska with professional and personal interests in economic diversification and preservation of Alaska’s unique quality of life.

We want to change the Alaskan economy. We want real innovation and business creativity. We’re not satisfied with federal jobs, extraction industries and tourism alone. We want career options and chances to start nationally-competitive businesses. Such changes won’t be handed to us on a silver platter — we must create the change we seek. Join us. We will build a better Alaska starting with an intensive, creative, exciting weekend event in which we build a brand new business.
